About Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline

What is Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline

Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline is a chapter of a club chapter of Rotary International (global body) and is under the umbrella of Rotary District 7070 (covering South Central Ontario).

Our club comprises of mostly younger professionals in Toronto’s downtown core that want to make a difference in their community and internationally and develop connections with like-minded individuals.

The younger membership, with a median age in the mid-thirties sets us apart from most other Rotary Clubs who often include many retiree members. We keep our membership fees low and focus instead on ways of giving back to the community through volunteering and external fundraising.  As an example, instead of having lunch or dinner at each general meeting, we have snacks with a $5 meeting fee and there is no fee for new guests.

Why should you join?

An individual should join Rotary to be a part of global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.

An individual should join RCTS if they are interested in participating in service activities such as cooking and serving meals monthly at the Fort York Food Bank, helping prepare Harm Reduction Kits for Casey House, attending fun events and fundraisers such as our Trivia Pub Nights, all while developing friendships with members.  Being available to attend meetings on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm in downtown Toronto would help too!

Did you know? Skyline was established July 2011 and Chartered on April 19, 2012.

We hope to see you soon!
