Our guest speaker is Matthew Didier from Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada.
Matthew Didier began The Toronto Ghosts and Hauntings Research Society in October of 1997. The site was originally a small project, but soon became a full time hobby with quite literally thousands of visitors per month and stories and reports from all over Ontario.
Through this, he and his wife (noted Ufologist Sue St.Clair) started a coverall group known as PSICAN (Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada) which is linked with team members across Canada who are looking into things we currently consider paranormal in nature ranging from cryptozoology to psychical abilities. Working with colleagues from The Society for Psychical Research, The Rhine Research Center, The Society for Scientific Exploration, le Institut Métapsychique International, the Parapsychological Association, and the Exceptional Human Experiences Network as well as being part of continuing studies through University of Edinbugh’s Koestler Parapsychology Unit, Matthew and his groups continue to look into all aspects of those things we consider paranormal in nature from avenues within folklore and history, to psychology and hard physics.
Other than this, Matthew is professionally a medical computer technician specialising in opthamological diagnostic and surgical instruments and also with his wife, is a War of 1812 reenactor with Thompson’s Company of The 2nd York Volunteers and also works with The Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada, The Norfolk Militia, The Canadian Volunteers, and The U.S. 22nd.
We we also be inducting 2 new members, Scott Teglasi and Katrina Chua.
