It has been an exciting week in the world of the Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline!
Last Tuesday, RCTS had the pleasure of welcoming guest speaker, Chef Damien Wilmot. With charisma for his trade and true tales of woe and wonder in the kitchen, Chef Wilmot spoke to a captive audience about his experience in the culinary world. Not to mention, tips and tricks on how to cook the perfect steak.

As creators of the Toronto Wing Festival and fellow foodies, the RCTS crew cant wait to see what Chef Wilmot comes out with next! (rumours are a food truck is in his future)
This Saturday August 16th, in addition to our efforts at the Fort York Food Bank, Rotarians from District 7070 and District 6400, including our very own Aaron and Julie, met on an air field to do their part to End Polio Now. By jumping 14 000 ft out of a plane!

The group set out to raise funds, awareness, not to mention a bit of altitude- and boy did they ever! We are also very proud (and relieved) that the event was a huge success; together with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a total of $18 000 was raised to End Polio Now. More details to come!
So come down to The Office Pub this Tuesday August 19th at 6:30 pm to hear about the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards and see what exciting things are in store!
