Visit to Foodshare

Last week, the Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline visited the Foodshare site at the Heydon Park garden. Foodshare is a non-profit organization that works with communities and schools to deliver healthy food and food education. Our club has contributed to Foodshare through grants and we have provided tools, growing boxes, and wheelbarrows. We were able to see the impact of this project firsthand as students work in the garden and grow food that is served in the school cafeteria. Thanks to everyone who helped us fundraise for this great project!
