On Saturday March 2nd, 2013, the Rotarians For Peace Symposium was held at the Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto.
The event brought Rotarians from Clubs and Districts in Canada and the United States together for an extraordinary learning and inspirational experience to earn about peace, development and global health – locally as well as internationally – and spend time with an incredible group of people who are changing the world.
The keynote speaker was the Rotary International President Mr. Sakuji Tanaka.
Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline members were pleased to be part of this great event and were honoured to be asked to join the Honourable Julian Fantino, Canada’s Minister of International Cooperation in a photo to promote The End Polio Now campaign’s iconic “We Are This Close” pose:
