Today Skyline Rotarian Aaron Miller was presented with a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) for his dedication to Rotary through his work in Tanzania this summer. Aaron was actively involved in implementing several Rotary projects including the distribution of reading glasses to those in need and sunglasses to youth with albinism who are extremely sensitive to UV damage, a school de-worming project organized by the Rotary Club of Mwika and a series of 12 water and sanitation education seminars in villages across Tanzania. The seminars were accomplished through SASCO (a registered Tanzanian NGO), in partnership with the Rotary Club of Windsor 1918 and the Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline with funding received from a District 6400 Community Grant (from District 6400). It is a real honor to be a recipient of a PHF as honorees have truly demonstrated ‘service above self’ and have met the high standards for dedication, social responsibility and professionalism set by Paul Harris himself. The PHF was presented by Richard Caron and Julie Caron.
